Blairgowrie, Rattray & District Angling Association
Dear All,
As many of you
will now be aware, Kate and Paul have decided to close their
shop at the end of February 2026. Great supporters of BRDAA
for decades, this iconic business and the people involved in
it, will be sorely missed in Blairgowrie and far beyond.
Kate's business
association with BRDAA dates back to 1968, however, having
been brought up at Aberbothrie, at the confluence of the
Ericht and Isla, her connection to these rivers and the
wider Tay system has, literally, been lifelong.
Her love of
these waters, the people involved in fishing and country
sports and her pride in the Blairgowrie area shines through
to everyone she meets.
On behalf of the
Committee and the membership of the Association, we would
like to wish Kate all the very best for a long and
well-deserved retirement. Best wishes also to Paul and
Catriona for their future endeavours.
Kate and Paul
would love to see people in the shop to say goodbye, furnish
them with their membership tickets and maybe even sell them
an irresistible bargain from their closing down sale which
is now on.
Go early to
avoid disappointment!!
