Payment Option 1 (Preferred Method) – By Bank Transfer (BACS)
• Bank Account Name: Blairgowrie Rattray and District
Angling Association
• Bank: TSB
• Sort Code: 87-44-07
• Account Number: 82973860
• Reference: Enter full name and membership number (or date
of birth, for new applicants)
• Important – without the correct details in the
reference box, the association may not be able to
identify who has paid, and it may not be possible to issue
the membership card or refund the
payment.
• When a BACS payment has been received, the Treasurer will
confirm this with the member by email.
• The Treasurer will notify Kate Fleming's that payment has
been made and that the card can be issued
when the member (or their nominee) comes to collect it.
• Kate's will update the shop membership spreadsheet to show
that the card has been paid for and
collected.
• If a member has any concerns over their ability to collect
their card from the shop, they should email the
Association for advice at
memberships@brdaa.co.uk
Payment Option 2 – By Card in Kate Fleming's
• There is a dedicated card reader for Association
transactions in Kate Fleming's shop.
• Members will be able to visit the shop and use this card
machine to pay their membership fees.
• On payment of the membership fee, Kate's will update their
membership spreadsheet to show that the card
has been paid for and collected.
• If the member's card is not ready for collection when
payment is made using the card reader, the member
should sign the shop membership spreadsheet to record that
payment has been made.
Payment Option 3 – By Posting a Cheque to the Association
Treasurer
• Membership payments can be made by posting a cheque (with
a short covering letter) to the Treasurer at
Knowehead Cottage, Bendochy, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, PH13
9HU.
• Membership cards will not be issued until the cheque has
cleared the banking process.
• The Association will email the member when the funds have
been received, and will also notify Kate
Fleming's that the card can be made ready for collection by
the member (or their nominee).
• Kate's will update their membership spreadsheet to show
that the card has been paid for and collected.
• If a member has any concerns over their ability to collect
their card from the shop, they should email the
Association for advice at
memberships@brdaa.co.uk
Payment Option 4 (Least Preferred Method)
– With Cash in Kate Fleming's
• If none of the other options above are suitable, members
can still opt to pay their membership fees with
cash at Kate Fleming's.
• However, this option creates additional work for both the
Shop and the Association and should be
considered as a last resort.
• On payment of the membership fee, Kate's will update their
membership spreadsheet to show that the card
has been paid for and collected
